I’m Turi and I’m a writer.

This is my fifth time starting a blog, which for some reason I’m hopeful it will be the last.

My “serious” works are creative non-fiction or fiction, which you can check out on my writing page, and my leisurely works are about books, travel, faith, teaching, and things that stick out to me in my life.

Ps. Mgeni is Kiswahili for stranger, which I’ve often felt like for most of my life. So this blog shares my musings from that perspective, or rather, the stranger’s narrative.
